Default 2nd gen center console

so i know everything bolts up
but could i just put a 2nd gen center console in my car?

i like how they are more than the 1st gen ones
and i'm probably going to get another short shifter and do something to mine to make it work better and get an SRT4 shift boot
just to look cool

so can i fit it directly?
or do i need to shave anything?

when you put the console in you also need the e-brake handle and the shift boot. well you dont really need the shift boot but it does look alot better

Thanks man. But if I did that I would definatly keep the stock 1st gen e brake handle because it looks alot shorter and the 2nd gen e brake handle looks like it would touch your hand when shifting.
