Yup all the wires are hooked up. Turns out that there is no voltage on the signal wire behind the gauge cluster. What should I do?

The wire will only have signal if the car is running. Yes The wire color is correct. There may be more then one, I am not sure.

I think you can also run the signal from the center wire on the coil, but I am not 100% on that.

I got it to get a signal with the gray/light blue wire works fine up to 2500rpm then the readings are off. Any idea why?

You should have a green wire behind the cluster that It should go to but if not your gonna have to run it to the coil pack. I had the same problem and I got a weird reading from the coil so I then found out bout the green wire behind the cluster and it worked fine

its the gray/light blue wire behind your cluster. thats the one you want. if you hook it up straight to the coil pack you will only get half the rpm reading. there are two different connections behind your cluster, it would be in the pile of wires in the right connecter. splice into it and put some solder and your good to go.
