Default first time neon owner

I have a 96 neon sohc never had a 4 banger before would like to do some stuff to it to make it a little more fun to drive more speed better handling I got this car to see if I would like compact cars but never realy worked on one before where is a good place to start

i just got my neon also ,the specialist said to start with the air intake system

a good cold air intake such as an iceman style intake
underdrive pulley
motor mount inserts
exhaust
just to start

not a mod. but make sure it has the MLS head gasket.

I have put a cold air intake on it but I dont see how it helps the damn thing gets the air from the back of the motor its all hot air Ive put on a new cat new o2s plug wires timing belt crank sensor cam sensor I would like to find a head and cam for itbut parts seam to be hard to find for this car

thats a WAI. you can find an old ice man that goes through the front, or go to Summit racing and find the mopar CAI but its like $300. OR you could go with the cheap one at $30-50 which is the 3.0L CAI. (homemade)

fab up under the hood scoop to put a Edelbrock Pro-Flo Air Cleaner thats what I had on my camaro
