Ok I know tach's are for ricers and all that jazz the only reason I want one is for the shift light. And yes I know they sell just the light. Just bare with me. Ok bought a 3 1/2" tach of e-bay. Cheap I know. Friend has same one on his neon even went threw same seller. Ok the tach I got works on every other neon other then mine. I'm hooking it up to the silver and blue striped wire from the back of the cluster, and I know its the right wire becuase when you cut it the stock tach doesent work. and when you hook it up to anyother neon same wire i remind you it works fine. What the hell... lol.

 

Did you hook up the 3 power wires also?
