alright i have a kinda wierd question... my other neon is totalled. its a 95 sport DOHC (the lime green version) anyway. I also have a *****'s jeep, which needs a motor. the morotr in the neon is just ifne, it still runs great. so, does anyone happen to know if the neon engine would work in the jeep? i mean, i know it would take some modification, but does anyone know if it is even a possibility? any input is appreciated.

 

it would take a hell of alot of work....not to mention the jeep would have to be front wheel drive and dont forget about the wireing, axels, fuel system and what nots

Is it possible that there is a rear wheel drive transmission that will bolt up to a neon engine? I have been told that Chevy (don’t know about Dodge) did this with some of its products so they could use the same V6 engines in both FWD and RWD.

 

he he he well my dad did. at it wasnt really his fault. the van infront of him suddenly stopped, and he rearended it. smashed teh **** outta th front. its my project car, dont worry.


about the jeep. my dad sed sumn about a tranny adapter. i cant remember what he called it, but yeah idk iguess well see. iw ant the engine in teh car cuz its my project, he wants it for the jeep.

 

if he rearended someone it would be his fault, by following to closely but yeah i dont know about the jeep with the neon engine. dont seem worth it at all
