Default How??? AIR INTAKE

How Do You Guys Put The Cold air intake infront of the engine.

my K&N Cold Air Intake is alimunium and doesnt bend and i really want to out my filter infront of my engine

and i dont have the money to buy a whole new setup so i looking to jerry rig something up i was thinking about heading down to my local junkyard andtake the stock air intake and just use the hose (cuz if i want to buy it theyll charge an arm and a leg) they were going to charge me 75 dollers for a cluster that they didnt even know if it worked and i went online to junkyarddog.com and got it for like $35 shipped to my door with like 120k less miles on it )
so i figure ill just take it

ok so what have you guys done who are in the same situation that cant afford a new system i was thinking about dryr hose and just making a place for the small hose whihc i believe is the temp sensor or something not sure

well let me know
Josh

i got my system in my car to hit so hard today, that every light in my car shut of and i went to idleing at like 200 rpms it was ausome i need a bigger capaciter ora seprate battery for it and its only 4000 watts [8D]

find a mid Chrysler minivan with the 3.0L V6 in it. take its intake tube. then go to Autozone and buy some exhaust piping and there ya go. oh and a K&N filter to go at the end of the new homemade CAI.

There is no breather for the O2 sensor.

The breather filter that is referred to, connects to the nipple from the valve cover to the stock air intake tube.
