Either the new bulb is also bad (it happens),the socket/wiring is bad or the signal switch is bad. There is only one flasher and it is used for both left and right signal lights and hazard lights.
The signal bulb is a dual filament bulb, one filament is used for tail lights the other filament is used for signals/brakes/hazard.
What happens with this bulb when you step on the brakes or turn on the hazards.

OK lets see if I can clarify, do I have the facts straight?
-Tail lights work normally.
-The signal bulb that is NOT coming on is the left rear, the dash indicator and front signal flash too fast.
-When you step on the breaks the rear left light does NOT work.
-When you turn on the hazard lights does the rear left bulb work or not?
The reason I asked about the brakes lights and hazards lights is that they share the same bulb, wiring and switches with the signal lights.
What was the bulb # of the one you replaced?
