Default srt-4 mags question

Im getting srt-4 mags....And i was wondering what is the best size tires for the srt rims
And is 245-40-17 to big for them mags..Cause i can get them free if they fit?
And do the srt rimsfit on a 1st gen neon,With no problems or do i need spacers for the rims?
Thanks in advance guys..

no spacers needed
245/40's are way too big for the rims......the srt rims arent very wide, so the widest tire you can fit on them without any problems is a 215/40.....205/40's actually fit the best

i have 205/40's on mine
