The reason is is because the mtx has a 49 mm tb and the atx has a 52mm tb. This will give you better throttle response.

I noticed my UDP the most during daily driving. The car felt like it always had more power across the band.
I did notice a nice decrease in ET with the Iceman at the track too. I had the Iceman first and then installed the MPx UDP later on.
