i have one sitting in my garage awaiting to find which Neon to put it on. their made by Hooker. but just cheaper. and their more of just a OEM replacement. but i've heard people that have had them on their cars and they said after like 5,000 miles the sound comes to them and they sound a little rumbly. aka not ricy

Since you have a SOHC muffler on there now, just swap tp a DOHC muffler (~$20) and be happy with the add MPG and HP.

yeh but junkyards here are few and far between and ive traveld around recently looking for dohc neons for sale or at j- yards and i cant find one so .. my option is tht thrush or stock or tht glass pack so what shoudl i do?

I had a glasspack on my old car. Contrary to what anyone will tell you I did not lose power and it sounded great! I dropped a couple tenths off my 1/4 time and I got compliments from BBC guys saying it was the loudest and best sounding 4 cyl they had heard!

think about it its kinda stupid to waist $40 now than to save up the money to get a good exhaustand just keep looking for the dohc exhuast just because theres not one today there might be one tomorow

Here's what my glass pack sounds like, sounds better in real life, it was hard to get volume levels correc to record properly.
