i thought about going with one on my car. until i heard a Taurus the the V6 and a Ranger with the 4 banger. and from what i've heard from other people, on a 4 banger, its not worth it. better if its on a V8 or something. and even then the glasspacks will sound good for like 2 weeks or so but then once the glass is all gone then its horrible. least from what i've heard from some Ford guys.

go with a turbo muffler. i love them. they sound good and perform well. i have a cherry bomb turbo, and it works great. i have a thrush turbo on my truck and thats good as well.

glasspacks have a tendency to make your car loose power....a free flowing muffler will give you a bit more power....

i havent heard a glasspack on a neon before, but i dont think it would sound very good....ive had the vibrant duals, 40 series flowmaster, and the srt4 rear section on the r/t....any of those sounded pretty good, but no glasspacks

Changing the muffler on a neon is pointless for performance (unless you are replacing a SOHC muffler). If you want sound or bling on the other hand then spend your money on the Vibrant.
