how is the atx faster??

i thought it went

DOHC MTX
SOHC MTX
SOHC ATX
DOHC ATX
When you are talking about 6-8 second cars, the ATX will be quicker...because it will shift quicker than any human can possibly shift. And it won't miss a shift.

ahh ok das thanks for the info

i dont beleive a 6 second neon possible Or The Crawford Guy Would Have Done It..

and if you put a jet engine then i would believe its pretty much not even a neon just a neons frame that a jet engine in it.. if i see a neon at go 6 seconds i want to see a "Neon" with a motor that is made for it like the 2.0 2.4 or the srt4 motor or watever motors are "supposed" to fit.. i would love to put a huge engine in my car like the old muscle car have but it would be alot of work and really a waste of time and money i would just go buy a Muscle car for prolly how much you would have to put into it..

ok so i wanna turbo a 2.4, but like to the max...
so i need to kjnow whats the best should i have the head bored over and sleeved?
Where can i get titanium pistons and rods?
is there a performance head? where?
what are the best valves? springs? retainers?
best cams ?
i knw not to raise compression, but if i sleeve the head will it work better?
should i have the head decked and leave the borer alone?
where can i get a performanceoil pump?
where is that engineswap adapter for the 2.4?
i want a six second neon it has to be possible, cause my friend has a 7 sec civic with like a 1.8 and my other boy has a turbo eclipse 90, and its puttin out 650hp dyno. im tired of gettin eatin alive... my goal is 800 but i would love to 1000 horses. every race i get into i lose with this neon, minus that mustang last weekLOL he was to afraid to scratch the paint so i just kept sliding over tll he turned off. any help would be apreciated thanks
i usually do custom stuff so i am not to into engine mapping... its a 96 and i need al the parts for a 2.4 cause thats what going in....

Hate to tell you but the only way you'll see a 7 second Civic is if your talking 1/8th mile times not Quarter mile times.

Personally I will drop in my 420hp Hemi into my Neon and I bet it does 12's...lol

Not as a personal attack or anything but after a post like you just did I find it very hard for any of us to take you serious. When you talked about boring and sleeving your head Iwas trying to think which head you were talking about, your head or the engines head? your head makes more sense with the way you put it in the sentance. You don't seem very capable of comanding a 6 second car let alone a 150hp Neon, I must say after reading your post I'm scared for the drivers that live around you.

Also Why in the F U C K would you Race a 150hp Neon Vs a Dyno Proven 650hp car? are you that dumb or just up for a challenge?...lol This to me is the biggest proof of your lack of IQ.

Either wayI don't think your belt goes through all the loops, the wheels spinning but the hamsters dead.

Not as a cut but you make my brother in laws IQ look like its over 40.

yep here it is where everyone starts the jokes
ne way, if i am using the 2.4 engine, and 01 pt cruiser clutch, what flywheel do i use?
there is a piece of sheet metal on the engine before the flywheel on my 2.4 can i use that one or do i need to get one from a 2.0
if the heads are the same between 2.0 and 2.4 why are the head gaskets a different part number
where can i get my head done at and what is the best way, cause i was thinking a 6 way valve job.
i know i seem stupid, but it is a dream i have, keeps me stable since the wife left ya know,
i would love to race pro, but i dont want sponsers till i either finish or am really close to it. so please i dont need jokes just answers.
