HELP...98 neon oil sludge?

Default HELP...98 neon oil sludge?

hi everyone im new here b.c my girlfriends neon is a peace....i just changed the oil like maybe 3 or 4 weeks ago...and last week checked the oil and it was like not even half qt. low...well that weekend the died and was smokeing checked the oil showed nothing on it so she tried puttin oil in it and it just sat the wasnt going down...well the next day i looked at it and the oil had drained down into the oil pan...so i started it ran fine...well today i filled it the rest of the way up with oil..and was runnin fine...took it for a like mile drive started smokeing from the motor not the exsuat...oil smells kinda burnt....now milky ....so isk what it is oil sludge?....any help would be nice...and it has like 92,000 miles onit....thanks braden

i filled it back up witch was like a qt. low..it looks normal..jus smells a lil burnt

milky is not good, you may have a head gasket blew. ck your coolant level too.

Milky oil is either water or coolant in the oil.

i dont know if you have this problem solved but check youroil levels and if good let the engine run for about 20 to 30 min then change the oil and see what comes out. careful it will be HOT

well im kinda scared to let it run that long if its not getting oil to the top of the motor..wont that seecz the motor up?

well someone was tellin me it is from where it had gotton hot b4 hand..and it got like sludge build up in the head so the oil isnt gettin to the top of the motor,,they were tellin me to take the valve cover off and clean these lil holes out with krosene...then change the oil ...so what do you guys think?

Taking the valve cover off is easy and might help identify further what the problem may be.
