again, welcome. i myself am new, but ive found everyone here is quite helpful!

i'm in the process of changing the head gasket on my car and i found it to be a little tricky but if u've done timing stuff before it shouldn't be a problem. you just have to jack the motor up, and then down and such and then set it back right to get all the bolts off everything. and the crank pulley can be a little difficult (if you use the "rent-a-tool" Crank Pulley Puller from Autozone, you need to use the longest rod and put a small worthless drill bit in it to give it an extra half inch to move the whole pulley off), but if you have a 5-sp then just have someone put on the brakes and put it in 5th and crank that bolt off (if doing it by hand), thats how i did it and was told to, but you're hear some people saying that it doesn't work and such so i think it all depends on the car lol.

oh yea, if you're speedo or gauges just happen to go randomly insane, or just stop working, thats a common Neon problem but its a very very easy fix.

ArticCat,
I just signed up here a couple days ago myself. I'm familiar with Webberville. I live in Lowell, MI myself.
If your interested in a swap, I have aluminum rims (only three though.) that I'd trade you for three of your steel rims. I know it still leaves you with one short, but I suposse it's a little of an upgrade for you.
Timing belt is not difficult, just need a few of the right tools and the job is pretty easy. I've messed with my timing several times too and it's not too bad a task. Pain is just all the crap that has to come off to get to it! My neon is for dirt tracking, so I removed a lot of junk and left it off, ie. air conditioning, power steering.
