Default more problems

seems like it never ends eh?
well i had an overheating problem to no avil the wires were rusted out...don't know how this happens but whatever
check engine light is starting to bother me codes are as follows :12, 21, & 55 took it to the mechanic he thinks it's the o2 sensor but doesn't want to replace it in case it is something else, and a little history i just got my head gasket repaired and he said anti freeze might have leaked and contaminated it.
need help

So, you fixed the overheating problem? Im too lazy too look up those engine codes, If you could post what those are it would help a lot..

12-battery has been disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles.
21-02 sensor problem (oxygen sensor), upstream or down stream (probably upstream sensor)
55-end of codes.

I'd check the wiring to the sensor and see if its frayed or a anything. Reset the PCM and see if it comes back.

i have reset the pcm via battery disconmnect at least a dozen times and the mechanic has "wiped" the pcm 3 times as well, and the light stays off for about 3-5 turn ons after the "wiped" has been done, but with me disconnecting the battery it comes on immedatly...unless any of you know a better way to wipe the pcm

wire frayed...i'll get that checked but still, any suggestions
