idk how to get them better. i just tried to use brillo pads and that didnt help at all.

get a palm sander, and start at about 400 grit sandpaper, and work up to 1500, then wet sand with 1500. Spray a good clear coat on them, get 2000 grit, and wet sand the clear, and polish them up, and they will look better than new. They'll last with clear coat on them too. I sanded those little nubs off, with 80 grit sandpaper, so I would have to sand around them. Its been like 3 years, and my headlights still look great. since my headlights are clear coated I wax them and it really makes them shine.
