how do you make the headlights clear!!! i tried using 220 grit wet sand paper. then used turtle wax rubbing compound and buffed the headlights with that but all that did was take the yellowness out. it improved them but its just not clear. thanks

 

try some more with some fine sandpaper maybe 800 to 1000 grit then buff them again if you have a high speed buffer that would work best

 

so are you wanting them to have no yellow or clear like glass????

 

Im trying to get it like glass. I will try to use a finer grit. but the headlights are so small and they have 3 little plastic nipples on them so i cant get my buffer in there.

 

you cant get the clear as glass since the lenses have the lineson the inside ofthem....only way is to buy clear headlights

 

all the yellow is out but you cant see through it at all ill post a pic tomorrow
