ORIGINAL: alpinegreenneon
P-1495 Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit
When monitored: Immediately after a cold start with ambient temperature between 40 and 90 degrees F and coolant temperature within 10 degress of ambient temperature.
Set condition: The state of the solenoid does not change.

Possible causes:
fused ignition switch output open
LDP solenoid short to ground
LDP solenoid circuit open
LDP wiring harness intermittant fault
LDP defective
PCM

The leak detection pump is by the evap canister under the splash shield passenger side behind the bumper. If wiring by the gas tank was messed up, it may be as well be messsed up by the LDP. Use an ohmeter to check the wiring from connectors to PCM for continuity and shorts to ground. Get new wiring from a junkyard if it's real bad.
