As long as you don't have a 95 or early 96 either coil pack will work but won't be an improvement over stock. The MSD coil pack is just a stock coil pack painted red.

das i gotta disagree , my car runs alot better on an MSD Vs the stock coils ive tried on it. always ran rich, now its lean and makes a boatload more power and runs quite hot from the lean condition, lol.

^^^ Have you tried a "new" stock coil pack?

There used to be a guy on here who worked for MSD and listed all the specs for the coil pack....stock! So I dunno.

yea i had a new coil pack from the dealer last year & always ran the same. the MSD just cleaned up the combustion, it wasnt anything crazy, but it was an improvement.
i think theres better aftermarket coils out there, i would only buy an MSD if your stock coil is already burnt up.

The Screamin Demon coil pack is an upgrade.

I noticed no difference with the MSD coil pack.

Are you talking about the MSD ignition? If so, we are talking about the coil pack. There are no "toys" with the coil pack!
