daylight running lights.... i'm pretty sure the Neons dont have daylight running lamps...least not till the 2nd gens. if you're talking about the parking lamps (if you pull back on the stick just on click, the rear lights go on and the middle turn signals turn on), then it could be a fuse.

Didn't the neon have daytime running lights in canada? I know mine does not but I think my manual mentinos them and reffers to canada. Thats probably why no one is responding. If you are talking about the orange parking/turn signal lights though check your fuses.

Yes, it is Canadian model.
All new cars sold in Canada starting from early '90 were equipped with DRL.

ah that could be why lol. stupid export model differences. theres probably a fuse or relay somewhere. check the fuse's in the cabin (its off to the side and when you open the door, it should give you what each fuse is) and if its not in there then check the relay box in the engine bay and again it should tell u which is which.

IIRC, there is a module or something that controls them. There should be access holes in the lower dash to get the bolts/screws out.

Could you describe more specifically where that module could be located and how does it look, so I would know what I’m looking for J.
