well iam new with the neon and all that and its a 97 so wat upgrades should i do with this neon?

 

MTX or ATX? if its a MTX then swap out the TB and put in one out of an ATX. also if its a SOHC then u can swap out of the muffler and put on a stock DOHC. how far and how much money do u want to spend on the Neon?

 

wat do u mean by MTX and ATX but i have a SOHC and i just want the neon to run great and be able to sell for a lot of money alright so i can find a DOHC muffiler

 

MTX= Manual transmission, ATX= Automatic Transmission. on the cars with the Manual, the Throttle Body (TB) is 3mm smaller than the ATX's, so if you swap them u feel a good amount of throttle response.

 

alright i have a automatic so i should find DOHC muffler and it will make the car sound better and i reallly want to buy parts for the engine to make that sound better?

 

it really wont make it sound better, but it will add a few HP. if u want sound, Dynomax and Vibrant make some good exhausts (you can go to Modernperformance.com and view all they have).

you can either make your own Cold Air Intake (CAI) or find a Ice Man. how much money are you willing to spend though on the car?

I bought mine cheaply, added a bunch of work and even so when I get my next car this fall / coming spring I will probably only ask for $1999. I do want to make sure it goes to someone who will treat it right and not wrap it around a tree. But anyways, if you want the neon to roar get an Iceman intake with a Dynomax exhaust. Though if your neon is automatic I wouldnt waste my $$ unless the car was in top shape at which point I'd do a manual conversion.

 

for a 13.7 second car i think 8k is good
