acually if you use the 2.0 intake manifold like your supposed to there is no possable way to make the egr system work unless your really good with a tig welder... the reason you use a 2.0 intake is the 2.4 will not fit without a slimline fan and it has longer runners to increase low end tq for the larger stratus family car...
so using the 2.0 intake mani no block off kit needed but u get shorter runners... well that sucks so how much does this kit rut and where do i get it ?

ok just use the 2.0 intake mani, and an egr block off kit and you will be fine... what i was saying is that the only reason you dont use the 2.4 intake mani is its a bitch to fit and it will bog your neon down and you will have no power above 5600rpm due to the long runners of the 2.4 intake mani. the 2.0 mani has shorter runners taking away tq at low rpms but giving you the power above 5600 rpm... just use the 2.o with a block off kit...

not exactly,,, you need 24lb inj. if you going to run a stock to moderatly modded 2.4 in your neon if you go turbo or high compression or anything that demands more fuel you go bigger.... now that im done being an ***....

the whole fuel pump is not needed just the regulator... heres your options but first let me explain why exactly we need to use the 24lb inj.s

2.0 injectors are 19lbs injectors, and heres the confuesing part so are the stock 2.4's however the 2.4's pcm sends a fatter longer pulse width to the injectors then the 2.0 pcm sends...and since you WILL be using the 2.0 pcm to run your 2.4 the pulse width to the injector would not be enuf and wouldent drop enuf fuel for you to run a safe A/F ratio. So heres your options....
[*] swap in 24lb injectors. if you use accel type injectors with the bosch plug on top your going to have to get the pig-tails from a parts store and solder them into your wiring harness for them to work... if you use ford mustang injectors witch are rated at 24lbs/hr then the plugs are the same as the neon and no modification is neccicary, plus there cheaper then accell.
[*] Ditch your pcm and get MegaSquirt so you fatten up the pulse width. wouldent recomend unless you know your ****. plus its 400 bucks.
[*] keep the 19lbs/hr injectors and get the 58psi fuel pressure regulator from modernperformance.com....This is a newer option and has not been exactly figured out yet, most guys are complaining now of running pig rich at idle and the injectors reaching full load at 3/4 throttle.

IMHO option one is your best bet and safest bet, its been proven time and time again.
