how do i know if my clutch is modular or non

 

get under ur car and pull a few of the tranny to engine mount bolts and remove the flywheel/ flexplate shield.............. turn ur engine over and look to see if there are 4 18mm headed bolts going through the flexplate............. if u see that then u have a modular (includes flexplate and clutch assembly)............... if not then u have a non modular (includes flywheel, friction disk, and pressure plate) i might have them backwards, im not sure.

 

If it's never been replaced and your vin# starts with a 3, then it's non-modular.
