Default oil leak

hey,
I have a 97 dodge neon, sohc. Auto. Its leaking almost 1 quart a day. It looks like its coming from where the engine and trans meet, which would mean the rear main seal. But i just want to be sure before i take the engine out to change it. Is their anywhere else i should check. The sooner you respondthe better. I need to do this ASAP, or im gonna have to buy stocks in an oil factory. Thank You

if it is leaking from between the tranny and motor, then its deffinately the rear main seal......its a common problem with neons and when you replace it, try and get a teflon gasket

deffinately not a head gasket or valve cover if its comming from the bottom like that

yeah its most probably the rear main seal. I just ordered mine yesterday from the auto parts store and it was like 13 bucks I think. I am doing the mtx swap this weekend so my tranny will be off so its a good time for me to do it.
