The AFX Race computers offer the best performance. They're expensive though. I have the AFX R pcm and it still goes pretty slow around 115ish with my mods. I've hit 120ish a few times but I didn't want to go any faster b/c it would have taken too long to see my top speed. I wouldn't want to get caught at that speed.

What part in the suspension would possibly give out? I know the RTs say they go around 140 and their suspension is very close to the regular Neons. As far as the suspension goes, the only thing I thought would be different with the RT vs Reg Neon would be springs and struts.

 

i think if you need to ask what can break in your suspension you prob shouldnt be going that fast... I dont go over 120 often and i have spings, struts, all new suspension bushings, aftermarket wheels, and had tires rated well over 130..... you know y because its not needed, if you wanta run the 1/4 thats cool but your not ever gona break 120 in a daily driver neon...

i know i thought it was funny as hell too,i usally run between 85 and 90 on the way to and from work only because if you dont you will get run over by others so rarely do i ever go over 100 but thought i would see what she would do now i know,@ 115 she was still pulling pretty good

 

vettes are over rated..... wow a guy can sign for 50,000 in debt and think hes billy bad *** driving it completely stock for the whole time he owns it.... cars that impress me arecars that are way under ratedthat will own a vette because somebody actually got dirty and put some work into it.... besides, 90% of vette owners take the car to the dealer for a frickin oil change cause they're scared to getdirty[:'(]

 

the r/t's do 130mph
when my red one was up and running i would hit the limiter almost every morning on my way home from work
even with a 130mph limiter on it, the car was good at outrunning cops

 

i agree i dont care for vetts,stangs,or any other high horse power car from the factory(unless it is an old mopar) i like taking a nothing and making it something like a 4 cyl that can whip a vettes ***,lol

 

where i live the highest speed limit is like 55 so most of the roads are back asscountry 35s so if you can do over 80 the cops will never get ya .... not that i would know
