so im on my way home and rolled past a vette at 90mph well of course he wants to play well knowing i would get my *** handed to me i stomped the gas and went he got right on my *** next thing i know the car just dies and he almost hit me in the *** i hit 120 and it fell flat what can you do to bypass this 120mph kill??????96 neon

It will do 130ish, but thats about all the aerodynamics will allow without more power...

Anything over 100 is dangerous anyhow without the proper tires and suspension... Could you imagine if something in your suspension came loose at 120mph? You might as well put your head between your knees and kiss your @$$ goodbye

sohc' usually cut out at about 117mph.....dohc's about 130mph

 

Hell, I think it's pretty damned funny that a Vette driver thought he needed to prove something against a Neon.
