I used GTech and it said I'm getting 119 HP to the wheelswith a stock 1998 Neon Sport with a SOHCAutomatic. Best 1/4mile run was 15.9 @ 84mph. I've also used Digimoto hooked up Via my laptop to the OBD-2 port and it read my 1/4 time as between16 flat- 16.3.

I must admit I'm starting out by doing a neutral to first drop to get the RPM's up during launch, which helped take offquite a bit. Not recomended for normal use I've also noticed letting off the gasafter it shifts into 3rd and repressing to about half way helps it gain power quicker for some odd reason rather than flooring it the whole way. Other runs I've done I've manually shifted it so 1st Gear runs to 52mph @ 5500RPM's2nd gear runs out to 92mph @ 5200 RPM's. My fastest Run's I've never used 3rd gear. The 5speed has to be wayflippin' faster if driven correctly. I'm sure mid 15's would be possible with a stock set up 5speed SOHC.

It's hard to believe a SOHC auto is getting 119 to the wheels. More like 110, put it on a dyno for accurate results.

the horsepower at the wheels is just a fraction of the horsepower added to the crank

so yes you are gaining power to the wheels

and yea you are right with the 115-120 to the wheels
but probably leaning more towards 115

Some tranny repair man is gonna love you soon if you keep up them neutral drops Better off brake torqueing..just hold the break down and the gas and let go of the break, gets you off quicker.
