I have a 1996 neon. My instrument cluster works from time to time. I was told that my cluster was bad and I need to get a different one. What do you think?

which things from the cluster only work partly? could just need to be re-soldered. its a common problem...

just replacing the cluster may or may not fix it. or it may fix it for alittle while but then it will come back...trust me happened with me before i knew about the resoldering fix... heres a how-to on how to do it and just try it first and then if it doesn't work then you can try replacing the cluster.
