Since my TB spacer was put on its almost too high and hits the hood with most of the hoses I've triedto accept a CAI tothrough thefront of thebattery tray. I need to mod a nice 90 degree angle hose to fit TB. But I'm not having any luck with finding something likethat.

Any Ideas what would work with a 3/4 inch spacer?

HellI might try that, my hood is dented from smashing a Deer a few months ago I kinda have nothing to lose on it : )

i always think about it maybe try getting a DOHC Hood or maybe you do have a dohc idk i just know i saw a Dohc with a raised up bump in the hood

there are plenty of ways to make a cold air intake.....you just have to figure out what works for you...if that one works, then its all good...

aren't you going to put a hemi in why care about a intake thats ismore moneyyou couldput in the hemiand im sure you don't need a cai with a old v8hemi

 

Yeah but I want to make my sohc car a bit quicker seeing as its my "good on gas car" : )

The Hemi will have a shaker hood scoup or a traditional one. Theres no getting around that one because the Carb will stick through the hood because of being taller in the sloped Neon front end. To finnish it off I might put "DOHC Turbo" on the side of the scoup to look like fair game for the Ricers.

 

ya cuz they wont be able to tell it isnt a 4cyl by the sound

 

back when i had a engine in the bonneville that 428hov8 was loud i don't think their going to miss that and i need to hear it as455ho.
