Default KYB struts.

are the KYB GR2's just OEM replacement or are they more like the Koni's (aka stiffer and such) but just a lot cheaper?

They are nothing like Koni's but they are an improvement over the stock struts.

i do belive all neons came with a front sway bar so all you would have to worry about is a rear one...
if you want a good setup for cheap then get:
rear sway bar, prothane suspension bushings, kyb struts, and if you can find them get some mopar springs
