am I supposed to help you with everything? You should have just hired me to do it lol. Well, I know on mine it took me about 10 minutes with a ratchet to get the alternator loose enough to get the belt on, the about five to get it tightend. Even though it dosnt look like it is moving, it probobly is!

lol maybe Jr. man. i think this car has made me stupider or something cause i changed the alternator on my dads Neon with no problems and i've changed the belts multi. times i just couldn't get this one lol. i blame it on my new car since its a '97 and not a '95

yup. but then i started the car (and it ran YAY...i had to replace the head gasket) and i noticed a sound coming from the belts...the PS/AC belt didn't get on the AC so it was just rubbing against the inside of the pulley...whoops.
