it's not what i would get.do you have a sprayer and a small booth.it sound a little cheap to me.just so you know how cheap that is i pay any where from50-160 a galfor primer depending on what it go's on don't get me started on paint and thiner.i say get it if you are going to be doing it then you need the practice you also need some top coats.

as in clear coat??

yeah i went to napa and they wanted 140 bucks just for primer i figure im 17 and this will be the first time paintingtherefore ill go cheep this time and maybe get the better stuff next time.

cuz right now im short on money would rather have it painted cheeply then be driveing around with bald bondo spots all over it from when i put on the bumper

 

yeah clear coat and your first time should be cheap are you going to do the engine bay,the interior, and trunk you need some sand paper well alot of sand paper and a sander if you want air powered you need a compressor it gets expencive i know my neon will cost about 3grand in paint,primer,pearls,thiner,and a few other misc stuffbut it will be pretty.the main thing is practice.

 

the engine bay and everything is already painted from when they painted it the first time i dont know if you saw but my engine bayis painted blue and the trunk is the same

does the clear coat need a reducer also??

the paint kit for the metalic black comes with reducer but do i need to get 2 more containers for the Clear and the primer or will one can do it all??

 

i have everything that is needed except for the paint to just some up any question, well and ill need to get sand paper but that is easily purchased.

est is that the stock color on your car if not what is the color?

so if i am to get the paint kit with a quart of reducer will i need more then that

it would be use for the Clear coat, thePaint, and the primer and its a 4-1 so would i need more then one quart??

 

Cheap is not good and good is not cheap.
