someone doesnt have to "be in the money" to order parts and stuff, after all he never even said how much he paid for the car to begin with, that could and probly is about half the $6K right there...

I've ghetto styled my '96 and would say that total, including the cost of the ride and all modifications shownso far, I might have $2G's in it, but it looks like I have more invested than that. And I will make sure to include pics just so you have something to look at...

 

did you get a hood with a WRX scoop on it?!

 

i have spent about 5 grand in my second neon and i bought it about 7-8 months ago. it all adds up quick too. and as soon as i pay off my blazer ( a 5spd one that'll surprise you) im gona take out a few more thousand and do what spuds doin and rebuild all the motor and tranny. my car is like a huge storage shed now... i got my complete turbo setup and other parts in the back seat and trunk.. my first neon got 10k into it until i got in a fender bender and stripped it out for a track car

 

right now ive alredy got almost $4,000 just in my motor....another $1,000 or so in suspension.....$2000 or so in body mods......and i paid $6200 for the car itself[X(]

 

Looks like one of those fake ones IMO, but I commend your efforts.
BTW his neonlooks pretty good, nice and clean. [8D]

 

it is a stick on one, but I actually cut most of the hood out from under it to make it functional... after all the aftermarket replacement hoods only cost me $40.
