it can cause your motor to choke on fuel since its getting too much

well i was just about to make a post on the same topic when i saw this one. i just put in a set of srt4 injectors to use when i put my turbo on next week. wheni start it up now it stumbles all over its self and in the upper rpm's it breaks down pretty badd. does anybody have a suggestion on what is should do.. should i take them out and get a set of like 28pound injectors or will the turbo even it out.

the injectors will work fine with the turbo because when you hook up the fuel regulator, you cna just lower the fuel pressure a bit to even it out.....but for the mean time, i would take them out....
like i said, your motor can choke from too much fuel

yea im goin to take them out until i get the turbo on. it pulled good in the mid rpm's but it is just dumping fuel out the exhaust and at an idle or high rpms its rough.

you dont need bigger injectors untill your engine is higly modified and they cant put enough fuel to it anymore. usually the fuel pump is what cant keep up before the injectors are at 100%
why so many people buy bigger injectors ill never know.
i have 550cc injectors in my talon (100cc bigger than stock) and its making well over 350HP.
when you get there its time to go up. untill then, or untill its got some boost, use what it has, theyre capable of more fuel then that poor little motor will ever need unless its got a turbo on it.

if you get rid of your stock fuel pressure regulator then the stock injectors will be fine...
with 8 pounds of boost my stock injectors worked just fine....
