it will run with the stock manifold just fine with a 2.5" straight pipe
maybe i have a header and just havent got caught with it yet []

There is no reason to run the AF/x over the Mopar unless you have a header. Even then, dyno's have shown the power difference is minimal to justify the premium price of the AF/x PCM.

youd have to race to understand how big of a difference that can make in 20 laps.
stock complete airbox Vs just cutting up the airbox puts a car from middle pack to out front.
hitting the rev limiter at the end 3 or 4 times every lap you lose quite a bit of ground
