Default Avenger head conversion

This may be dumb Idk i just seen this and thought of it but has anyone attempted or actualy taken a dodge avenger head DOHC head and put it on a neon to were the exhaust is on the front so if your turbo it then it would be right there and easy to get to? Is it possible? Im thinking about trying it cause the cams are still on the same side as our neon motors is just thought it would be different to try in the neon. I swapped to a 2.4 and I think it would be a good idea having my turbo easy to get to and running the piping. let me know thanks.

I think you would have to get the whole motor because the oil and coolant ports might not line up...

read up on your engines, its the same bottom, same head casting with reversed airflow direction, and they LOST power when they did it.
its the same thing as the mitsu eclipse motor.
it will work but good luck finding room in a neon

I figured that, but if it were a simple swap or even a doable swap, it would have been done already.
