Default Front Wheel Bearing Replacement

I'm trying to do a wheel bearing replacement on a '97 Dodge Neon 2.0 SOHC. Manual has nothing on it. The guy at the auto parts store said I needed a 10ton press to remove the bearing and that sounded a little strange to me. Any information would be helpful.

the wheel bearing is pressed into the hub assembly.....you will have to remove the whole spindel assembly and bring it into a shop to have the old one pressed out and a new one pressed in

Thanks. So, if I have a press available to me, how do I go about doing it myself?

Place a socket on the side of the lug nuts and a 3" piece of steel tubing on the other to press the bearing into
