I got this broken connect thing near my break booster and i was just wondering to see what the hell it is, wasnt sure if it had anything to do with the breaks of what.
Oh okay, i thought it might have been for my breaks since they suck *** in the first plce. Which raises another question. My pads are all brand new yet i still cant lockup the tires and i have ot press it to the floor to stop what could be wrong?
My uncle re-did all the breaks and he put new pads all teh way around and when i first got it done it would lock up but now it doesnt....He bled them when he did it but there aint **** for stopping power now and idk what to do.
how long ago were the pads replaced???? are they good pads, or some cheap crap???
cheap pads can easily "glaze" over ang cause you to loose brakability
they were cheap pads yeh, but the front i think were changed in october and the back i BELIEVE have been on it since weve had it and thats been like two years but they look brand new which leads me to believe that since there like new something may not be functioning right? Idk that was my inclination.
See i dont know, the pads are both brand new, wouldnt that mean there could be something wrong ie bad break lines? I mean i stop and all but i have to push it to the floor but the pads look brand new in the back...the break fluids full...idk
hawk pads are real nice. but if you're rear brakes look new after two years then the rear isn't braking enough and the front is doing all the braking which is putting to much pressure on the front brakes to stop the car. check the brake lines especially the rubber lines. when they get old they can cause loss of breaking power because when you break it puts more force on the line expanding it out instead of putting that force on the brakes.
