ok this post is about stories so here i go
my friend had an 88 pulsar im not sure how fast it will go but the speedo says 125 and we would race every day and i would just stomp the **** out of him with no problem like he be flooring it and i could let him pass then i would catch but up with him with no problems well he recently sold the car and the guy who bought it did one of the oh im tough fly bys so i waited for him to slow down and i lined up with him and he floors it so i let him get a little bit ahead to make him think hes winning and then i stomp the gas and do a freekin ausome fly by yeah it was so freekin funny... havent talked to the guy yet but i was laughing that he thought he could beat me im mean its a decently fast car and its a manual but its not gonna stand up to a neon[8D]

My favorite race happened about three days ago. Drove around town a bit around midnight and found a 90 Talon Non-turbo driving around. I followed him to a red light to enter onto a highway near my house. The light turned green and we both left. With first gear neither of us were getting anywhere. He was in front of me from the beginning(highway is a one lane at the light, but becomes a two lane). I put it in 2nd and he started to lose me a bit(now about 3 cars in front). Around 50 mph i started to notice i was gaining on him. We started to go up a hill and i went into 3rd at around 60. He went into the passing lane and i went by him around 85-90. At the top of the hill i slowed down and notice he was about 2 cars behind. We slowed down and we both put our widows down and he said good race and gave me a thumbs up.
I was completely amazed beating him, i was sure a Talon could beat me. My car is a 97 sohc mtx bone stock under the hood. Only thing i had that may have help is a have toyo tire z-rated and it was raining at a light rate. Another story is when i raced my buddy's 98 zx2 escort on the turnpike from 65-100 and won but only barely.

hmmm you should take the non turbos easy, iv run tons of the turboed ones and dont think i lost to any of them yet...
