toyota celicas.....got me one a gt too....i was just on my way to work at the dealership when i pull up beside a rich kid....i was in the turn lane to go left and he was in the straight lane....im just sitting there listing to music in my neon....i turn and go on my way, but at the next light i hear a car revving it up, so i look around and somehow he got behind me. so i figure he thinks "its just a regular stock neon" (which it is) so he gets up beside me and asks...do u want to race...so i say ok....(its about noon) but we stop at a green light and he honks three times....the squeeling of tires and then im in front....i had him before i even got out of first..dont know how...cause thoes celica gts have 190hp....and my neons not close to that....but i felt accomplished that day.

 

Ok, Here is a question for you guys. Do you think a front wheel drive can drift? And i mean truely drift not this yak up on the e brake and slide the *** end around. And yes I know there is a method using the e brake.

 

no because they can drift but they can't get respect i drifted the strat alot[&:] and how many of you have done a 180 nowthats fun[8D]they can drift good......and ebrake isa form of drifting they say only newbies do it but so do the best...on the noen i can fient drift and ebrack and a couple of others....but i haven't really masted the 180 trick with it....i love fwd drifting it is eaisyer to control then rwd drifting imo

 

You cannot drift a FWD vehicle. Sliding around is not drifting. You can't have the car sideways and still be going forward in a FWD!

 

i use to think that(and mainly still do)untill a guy in a fwd integra type rout drifted a s12 and a 240we all lauged when he rolled up and we maid a bet that if he could take the silvia on the track we would forever call fwd slides....drifting or he would have to have some bad word spray paitedon his car now i type drift insted of fwd slide[>:] they impressed me enough to try and i love it just as much a rwd drifting....buthonestly a drift is just for rwd's.....fwd's onlyhandle better because they keep most ofthier grip but thier is nothing like a perfect rwd drivendrifti just wish one of my rwd where runing again so i could play on my track

how fast is the subaru sxt or something like that theres one for sale for 4500 and im curious about it,,,,, ive been told it was gotten up to 140 by a previous owner that now has a neon but its an automatic i wouldnt buy it but was just curious of the speed
