Had to replace my wife's pcm in her 2001 neon rt and it was $875.00. Thank goodness it was under warranty. It had 15 miles before the warranty was expired

97-99 should swap in fine. You may have to splice in some sensors if you use a 98-99.

Well, I used a 98 harness in my 97, and I dont recommend it. I had to splice the injector harness, map sensor, vss, alternator, starter, tb sensor, and a couple other ones. It really sucked. I would suggest finding one from a 96 or a 97, little to no spliceing there.

ive said this before but here it is again....when it comes to engine wireing harnesses,
95 and 96 will swap between the 2 years, but will not swap between 98 and 99
97 is unique to that year and is kinda a cross-breed between the 95 style plugs and 98 style plugs
98 and 99 will swap between the 2 years, but will not swap between 95 and 96
when i say they wont swap, its more or less that they wont swap without doing some splicing
