i take it you are talking Air conditioner? if i had a camera that had any battery left (lost my chargers... DAMN!) i'd take a picture of it for you

a haynes manual has a picture of it

do you have the recharge kit?

depends on the state

minnesota u can do it yourself, wisconsin you have to get it done professionally

if you don't know, easiest way is to go to your local auto parts store and ask if they sell the 134 i think it is refridgerant

i bought my kit a couple years back for under $50, new cans of stuff are under $10 each (i used 2 small cans on my neon here a month ago and it was EMPTY)
as far as buying the actual kit, i'd go to walmart to buy it

possibly ebay?

best bet is to search for a/c recharge

and try to get one with a reusable hose part (hose isn't part of the can, those are single use) and try to get one with a gauge built into the hose as well

you may also have to use the low pressure override to charge the ac, which on my car is right up by the radiator overflow bottle, kind of an oval plug, disconnect this plug, then put a jumper across in one side of the plug (i don't remember which side of the plug, one side will make the pump kick in, one side won't) but you also have to turn on the A/C inside the car

also, put the a/c on FULL COLD FULL FAN but not recirculating, use fresh air

best bet is to have the haynes manual, it's great for just about everything on the car anyway

I think they might have changed the law in Wisconsin, I see the 134 at Auto Zone and Wal Mart in Wausau Wisconsinwhere I live, being sold to anyone with cash out in the open: ), Infact when I get some money I want to rechargemine, but it has a leak in the upper hose and I'm hoping I can seal it with a mechanic in a bottle....lol at least last me 2 months till summer ends! : )

if they changed it, they must have JUST changed it, cuz i couldn't get it not even 2 months ago

and if you have the kit, the 134 is cheap, under $10 per can

best way todo it is to take it to a shop if you add the stuff out of a can you can get air into your a/c system and then it will not owk properly, but the recharge kits will only go on one of the 2 fittings on your car they are diffrent sizes so you can mess it upDO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT LET THE OLD STUFF OUT just recharge the system,if you still do not have cold air there is a problem with your a/c system(i think it is the low side it goes onto the smaller one)
