ok i am going to have some fun not just yet but i am planning i am swaping my stratus engine with a rwd or a awd engine and putting the 2.4 in the neon. i know all about the 2.4 swap but i need the 1st gen neon people to tell me how good is a 2004 wrx sti engine can the 2.4 beat it with a turbo?or do you have a way better suggestion? i was thinking about a r32 engine or a silvia but that would be to hard i might not do it because i don't like swapping because it's like swapping their personallityso any ideas?

 

by specs the srt 4 will out run the wrx but i have seen it go either way. But a gen1 swap should blow the wheels off the wrx if no mods are done to either car

 

never mind the ? i just don't want to swap on these cars but i was justwriteing about putting my neons leftover engine in my 87 nissan sentra coupe se......then it hit me i could put a srt-4 in to my sentra[8D]. my sentra is way way lighter than any 1stgen neon (it has alot ofweight lossmods) so new ?

how big in sizeis the srt-engine compaired to a 1stgens? i thinktohave a nissan/1stgen neon enginewith a turbowould be fun or the srt-swap how dose it sound 'the nissan neon' if the 1st gen engine has more room to work with i can run more turbo stuff and make it look better

 

I know when the 2.0 was in it. I couldstick my legin between the motor and the rad and stand on the ground, but with the 2.4 in there it is hard to see the ground.

too far from you im in azi will still look at all the engines and consider a awd or a rwd for the nissan it's going to be fun anyways i was going to swap a pos dohc version of the engine i have now 30 morehp is not going to help lol

rwd or awdneons yeah they take a long time and are very hard todobut im talkingon my nissan and it's twice as hard as the neon so i scraped the awd or rwd plan to much work it would take a year or two so i am just going to put a fwd in alsorwd don't have that much power than a fwd it's a waist of time so im back on the 1stgen engine or the srt engine in my sentra and i am not considering a rwd or awd engine

now what would a neon engine with a mtxtranscost?if anyone has a free engine i'll take it
