Need a header!!!

RE: Need a header!!!
performance.
Here is my problem.
I bought a RT just missing the engine, he said it was DOHC and I got a engine from a DOHC Highline and now it looks like the header is too long.
I need something with good boost, but it doesn't have to be top of the line. Just something for now until I can get some better ones.

RE: Need a header!!!
if the header is too long, it sounds like you have a long tube header, which are some of the better ones to have
check out www.modernperformance.com or search for megan racing brand headers, the megan racing brand is pretty good for stuff they do in my experience, and they are much cheaper than anyone except ebay.

RE: Need a header!!!
if it's a real megan racing one, you should be able to find it by searchin for megan racing
from what i've seen/heard, megan racing is just as good or real close to just as good as the big names (aem, etc.) as far as quality, i'm not sure about performance tho, but they are a hell of a lot cheaper.
for example, B&M short shifter, $110, megan racing, about $40 or less

RE: Need a header!!!
if it's a full long tube, the cat will have to be removed (and should fit perfectly then) or cut out and moved further back. also, if you move the cat back, then the downstream o2 sensor (the one behind the cat) will have to be moved back also, which means the wires will have to be lengthened
