Default Aftermarket water temp gauge

I was considering getting an aftermarket water temp gauge because I want a gauge with actual numbers, not that idiot gauge on the main cluster. How hard would this be to install? I have seen one before and it seems to be hooked to a metal hose and then to a temp sensor on the end, assuming that’s how it’s set up, where do I put this temp sensor?

Get a 'manual' gauage not an electronic one. Just jam it into the block in one of the water jackets and you willbe fine.
