so here it is.....i hope no body thinks its too taboo for me doing this but i like the look. i need help in covertin my 98 neons front end to an eclipse front end..... the thing is, i havent started and dont plan too if its goin to be too costly. anyone HELP!

its just for looks, personaly i think it looks good. the tail lights im gona change to an accord dont hate im still totaly in to my neon!

i like the eclipse idea let me know how that go's....what year of eclipse? accord tails won't go with the lines of the car but get a pic of the lights so i can see...........the easy way for doing this isget a eclipse body kit bumper(frp)so you can shape it easyer maby a eclipse hood too and while you there get projector lights for a eclipse and if you got the cash get frp fender(or cf)and make those fit......it will cost alot imo maby cheper then what i think but it sounds cool good luck with it all if your in az i can help

 

so far on the listconsists of a97-99 eclipse bumper, 2 fenders, a hood, and some head lights....note that i have not bought any of it YET!....the cost of all this is a bit over a grand......(have not checked the local jard) in this project i expect to fab. some parts or simply just rig some **** so that allthe parts fit. i have also took some measurements off of both cars and it seem to me thatevery thing but the head lights "should" just pop into place. its obvious that the head lights are going to need the harnesses orbracesoff of the eclipse model so in essence i will need the entire assembly. like i've said before if anyone has any more info. note that theC.A.I. was a H.A.I. at the time and after readingup on it, ithas
nowchanged........it now runsthroughwer the battery was and the battery is
now in the trunk.

p.s.s. have not yet added paint. want to get the car just right beforethe sprayer hits it.

 

no offense,, but just by an eclipse. =P ..persoanlly i luv my neon and the way it looks..i dont want to even think about converting its lok to a honda and/or an eclipse. for that ill buy an eclipse and change the back to a honda. Moreover, itd be cheaper for u to go out and buy an eclipse rather than get the parts, paint, drill, fit, etc..but thats just my opinon..i mean i would love to c how it looks (which would pretty much be an eclipse) and wish u the best of luck wit ur project.

 

Haha yea, eclipses are a dime a dozen like the neon. For alittle over a grand you could get a 99 and earlier eclipse.
