I'm sure you a few of you remember my "front end shaking" thread, well I found the problem it is my long susspectedtrannsmission, I was going up a hill and it did that shaking noise and I heard a pop and I my engine was like in nuetral while still being in drive, I let off the gas reved it again and the tranny engaged. Itsdid this to me2 times in the last week and the rest of the time it engages good and shifts good with the exception of the shaking on take off. Could the clutchbands be worn on the transmission? or is this a deeper problem? The car still drives and works normal for the most part, I'm wondering too if the actual gear that drives the axel's could be fkd up?

 

sounds like the trans is junk

 

check your fluid levels but sounds like junk to me too
