Default Transmission Problems Please help

I have a 1997 Dodge Neon highline sport, my problem is today i was driving my car and suddenly i didn't have any drive gears except if i would put the car into first gear it would be fine and i could then shift to 2nd and be fine and then shift it into 3rd and it would run fine but i can't start out in D. so to go any where i would have to shift 1st, 2nd D, mind you this is an automatic. also i have a problem code #37 for the torque conver/park neutral switch failure. I also have had the Tranny flushed back in January with new mopar 4 fluid and the car has 143000 miles on it. what do you think is the problem and what can i do to fix it or what to look for?

Replace the lock up solenoid on the valve body. The valve would need to come out to replace. But before you do that,be sure the two wire are plugged in 1st.

well the labor is 340, shipping of the used tranny 100, and tranny itself 500 and shop supplies 25 so for our area it isn't bad plus they are a reputable shop, and a good warranty
