im thinking of doing a 2.4 n/a set up in my car. i plan on keeping the stock bottomend. do you think it would be better to p&p a single or dual head for it? i know the dual flows better, but i remeber seeing a sigle ona 2.4 that was perrty quick on time. witch do you think would be better. if i went single would a magnum head be better?

RE: 2.4 n/a set up
What do you plan on doing with the Car?? Are you a Solo Racer, Club Racer, Drag Racer, Dirt Track Racer, etc???
It would all depend on what you are trying to achieve?
From what I have read and raced against - some 2.4have good low end torque and are wimpy on the high side!
I club race and most tracks have long straight a ways and I can easily run down the IT (Improved Touring) cars in the straight - but the IT cars do get a good launch out of the turns!

RE: 2.4 n/a set up
use a 2.4 DOHC setup with the 2.4L intake cam and 2.0L exhaust cam it will bring the top end back to life using those cams.
2.4L SOHC setup with a 95 cam even you have strong midrange grunt but they hate to even try to rev.
the hard part is gettingthe timing componets to work together using that head
