ok... car is running, sprayed the motor down as a normal routine when i wash it..... car completely loses power and then when i start it (3 tries to get it to start) it idles at 1500 then drops to 500 and almost stalls, then back up to 1500, then completely stalled.... now wont even start any ideas on what just happened? thanks to every1 who posts!

 

check under distributor cap for water. dry it out with a rag. maybe spray some wd40 in it (wd= water displayment)

Check if all the hoses are still conected.

 

well my friend noticed the starter is actually sparking when i first try to start it then it just keeps turning over with no start... any ideas?
